Artist's Comments

inspired by Victorian Dresses, but not historically correct ;3

I did it in 2 or 3 days, because i needed an outfit for a (not so spooky) halloween party.
corset, skirt and overskirt sewn by me, the blouse was bought & only slighty embellished.
the fabric was a really cheap one (i bought it @ IKEA :3) since it was only a halloween costume. Don't know if I'll ever wear it again although I really like the style...

This is absolutely lovely... I love the way the dress flows along with the natural curves of the body. Stunning work! You're very talented ^^

Simply coloring inside the lines does not make you an artist.

This looks so nicely sewn! How did you do it? Did you use a pattern on this one? It looks so hard to make... I wish I could make stuff like this. Right now I just hand-sew though, I don't have a (working) sewing machine yet...

i constructed the pattern myself. It mainly consists of triangles, rectangles and circles.
And it looks much more complicated than it actually is ;3
